It is also reduces the swelling and water retention caused by various medical conditions, such as heart, liver, or kidney disease. They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

• diabetes
• gout
• immune system problems, like lupus
• kidney disease or kidney stones
• liver disease
• pancreatitis
• small amount of urine or difficulty passing urine
• an unusual or allergic reaction to hydrochlorothiazide, sulfa drugs, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
• pregnant or trying to get pregnant
• breast-feeding

How should I use this medicine?

Take this medicine by mouth with a glass of water. Follow the directions on the prescription label. Take your medicine at regular intervals.
